Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kleem Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Cipher Quintet mobile application. Last updated: July 24, 2026.

Summary

Cipher Quintet is designed to work offline. We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information on our servers for gameplay.

Information stored on your device

The app may store the following locally on your device:

This data stays on your device using on-device storage (for example, Capacitor Preferences / platform local storage). It is not uploaded to Kleem Studio.

Leaderboard names

If you qualify for the weekly board and submit a name, that name is stored locally with your score for that week. The weekly board also includes seeded offline rival entries generated on your device. We do not operate a cloud leaderboard for this version of the app.

Information we do not collect

Internet access

Gameplay, fonts, scoring, and the offline weekly board are designed to work without a network connection. Purchasing or updating the app through the Apple App Store is handled by Apple under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

Children

Cipher Quintet is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because gameplay data remains on-device, there is no server-side profile for us to maintain.

Data deletion

You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device, or by clearing the app’s data through your device settings where available. Starting a new run after confirming restart also clears active run progress.

Third parties

App Store distribution, payments, and related services are provided by Apple. Their handling of information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
